When I was in Thailand I saw this great Alter table in the shadows.

| You can alter a farm table:They're usually 32-36" tall. If the legs are simple design - cut to 30-31". The table is now seating height, making it great for pulling up a chair for dinner or working on the computer. If there is a bar - have only one removed so that chairs can slide underneath easily. This table is about 77" wide, but measure between the legs to make sure your chairs will fit.

A factory supplied this alter table, but it was too long to get into the elevator. We had it taken apart and cut down 6" - then stained it a rich deep chocolate brown. My favorite color. It's gorgeous.

| We originally saw this sideboard in red. With its clean modern lines we changed the color to an antique green patina - another play on new lines with an old finish.

We just reproduced and delivered this Alter table cabinet. We updated it by making the four doors accordion outward for easy access to the inside. A beautiful lacquer finish and the customer's comment: We got it today, WE LOVE it!!!!!
