The
most rewarding aspect of my work is my interaction with my clients.
This profession is similar to coaching in that I get to help people
realize their full potential in creating living spaces that are
reflective warm and beautiful. Each client is unique and brings new
ideas and challenges. I feel blessed to have “coached” so many
wonderful clients and am very grateful for the opportunities that
have been presented to me.

DESIGNERS SERVICE ON LINE
'INSPIRATION ROOM' SERVICE
ONE ROOM $3000 - up to 4 pcs. TWO ROOMS $5500 - up to 9 pcs. THREE ROOMS $7600 - up to 15 pcs. FOUR ROOMS $10,000 - up to 22 pcs.
FIVE ROOMS $12,200 - up to 30 pcs.
A $2000 deposit is required at time of hiring - deducted from the amounts above at the end of the project. Many people don't know where to start and cannot visualize the final outcome - so with this deposit - a blog is written for viewing on the Internet displaying possible floor plans, and visuals of products that will be suggested to get the communication and process started.
Design Fees are additional fees added to the cost of the furniture/project, payable when the furniture is ordered. This fee covers shopping, design work floor plans, color selection, communication and meetings at my office or your home, transportation to China, etc. Most designers will bill you $500 - $1000 an hour and the hours can rack up quickly. With our furniture discounts - it will cover for the design fees and you will still have significant savings at the end of the project.

you've found 'the perfect' room in a magazine or catalog, Home
ReDesign can help you create it in your own home and within your own
budget!
Initial consultation is $500 in your home.
We will meet and discuss your vision while I take measurements to create a future floor plan.
Home ReDesign will then start looking for the major items
needed to create your inspiration room from factories or local
retailers. Get a tour together with 3 of your friends – and
explore the factories in Zhuhai to start the process.

Many
of the items may be special order - designed to fit your needs.
Drawings and dimensions will be supplied.

You
will receive a written summery of our personal recommendations and
suggestions. A floor plan will be drawn up for placement. Together we tweak it until a final look is accomplished.

Furniture
specifications - these are items you can order on line as your
budget permits.

This
process will takes about 3 weeks.

Once
completed we will place the orders – new items take about 6-8
weeks depending on the complexity of the piece and the number of
pieces.

When
your furniture arrives - simply place it in the room according to
your layout provided.

You
may want a fresh new look to your home with an Interior Redesign which
is the art of transforming your home utilizing the wonderful
things you already have. Using
your existing furnishings and accessories, we revitalize and awaken
your living and work spaces, reflecting your style so you'll feel
even more connected to your surroundings.
Cost:
$650 per hour – 3 hour minimum (less than the
cost of a piece of furniture). Together we can move items from
room to room to create a fresh look. Then evaluate what items you
may need to complete it.

STILL NOT SURE?
$500 - I will meet you at your home (Hong Kong Island only) for 1 hour and we can evaluate the room you need worked. I will then put together a quick outline of what we discussed.
For an additional $500: I will also include a simple floor plan drawn out for you - with some sample designs needed and color palette. This is all emailed to you shortly after.
Before the visit - email me several photos of your room, so I can be prepared before the visit. I will also send you some ideas of products and colors with the outline. You can do the rest yourself, or use our design services to finish the project and find and/or design the pieces you need.

Manufacturing wood special orders: We will not reproduce solid wood items during the summer months: May - September. The factories are not a controlled environment and we cannot guarantee these type of items.
It's best to shop retail or find antique items in Zhuhai with us. Another suggestion is manufacture using veneers - which is how many items overseas are produced.

Please have an understanding of what will fit your elevators, hallways and rooms.
Elevator doorways are smaller than the inside. Items have to be tilted to enter. Make sure there is enough room for the tilt. Is there enough room in front of the lift - going in and going out? Check the measurement between the arm rails on the lift. For an item going down a hallway and making a turn into a room. No large furniture should be turned. It should be able to move down the hallway and then sideways into the room needed. Measure from your baseboards - not your walls. Going into a room - is there a wall directly in front of the door? Will the item make the turn once in the room? Ceiling height - are there bulk heads in your ceilings. Will the item fit your ceiling height? Will it fit your elevator ceiling height? Because of this many items have to be broken down to 2-3 pieces and stacked. This increases the cost of a piece - more wood and more labor. Wall space - have you left enough room between several pieces of furniture along the same wall? Have a grace of 3-4 inches at least between two pieces. Then if you've made a mistake there is room to breath. All sales are final - we do not give refunds for items that don't fit. Please check all worksheets before ordering and be an educated consumer.
